The Roy Moore Saga…To Support or Not Support

Finally, based on what we know, perhaps the question to ask is how will these accusations affect Roy Moore’s ability to perform his job as a Senator? And/or have the accusations made him less capable of his job? If your answer is yes, then vote against him. If you answer no, then vote for him. But whatever you decide, be sure you can live with your decision. I know I don’t regret my decision in this past presidential election.

WORST YEAR YET: Global Persecution Of Christians Hits Another All-Time High

Modern Christian persecution has reached another all-time high worldwide, according to new reports and studies. An International Catholic Charity, Aid to the Church in Need, found that Christians comprised 75% of those persecuted for their “Religion” globally over the past 3 years. The Charity found that Christians are not only more persecuted than any other faith group, but they are also experiencing the very worst forms of religious persecution.  The report also ranked the “most extreme” countries, concerning hostility toward Holy Bible believers, and China, Eritrea, Iraq, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and Syria topped the list. All of these countries appear on the World Watch List of Christian persecution watchdog group, Open Doors. In 25 years of “chronicling and ranking” the political and societal restrictions on religious freedom experienced by Christians worldwide, Open Doors’ researchers identified 2016 as the “WORST YEAR YET.”  According to the new studies, over 200 million Christians experience high, very high, or extreme persecution. Islamism remains the most dominant driver of persecution globally, and is responsible for initiating oppression and hostility toward Christians in 35 out of the 50 countries on the 2017 World Watch List. In Iraq, the exodus of Christians has been […]

BENHAM BROS: Be Bold! Call Out Sin And Turn From It

“Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord” (Acts 3:19). (Via WND.com) – This is the simple message of the Gospel: Repent from your sins and be refreshed from the Lord – it’s just that easy. It’s not hateful, bigoted or intolerant in any way. In fact, it’s the most gracious and loving message anyone can hear.  And it’s the same message from God since the fall of man, long before Peter even spoke these words in the first century. The prophet Ezekiel spoke the same thing directly from the heart of God centuries before:  “‘Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked,’ declares the Lord God, ‘rather than that he should turn from his ways and live?’” (Ezekiel 18:23)  So, the central message of the Gospel has always been that all people should turn from their sin and enjoy the eternal and abundant life God freely gives us through repentance. This is, and has been, our anchor of hope from generation to generation.  Unfortunately, this message is being distorted and diluted by some spiritual leaders today who seek to make the […]

THIS GENERATION?: 70th Anniversary Of Israel’s Rebirth Could Herald Christ’s Return

In 6 months from now, Israel will celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Biblical Nation’s REBIRTH on May 14th, 1948. Thus, I believe 2018 will be a very prophetically-significant year. You may ask, why is the number 70 so important? Why is it any more significant than the 25th Anniversary, or the 40th, or the 50th??? While there are many reasons I will give in this article, I believe the main reason is a single word. That word is “GENERATION”.  In Matthew 24, arguably the most comprehensive account that Jesus Christ gave of Last Days’ Signs concerning His Second Coming, our Lord mentioned “this generation”. What He meant by this was that the generation to witness all of the Signs which He gave would also be THE generation that would witness His RETURN to earth. First, He gave His disciples many specific signs of the End, such as powerful earthquakes, signs in the heavens, Christian persecution, false Christs and false prophets, rumours of wars, and rampant sin.  In verses 32-34, He mentions the most important Sign of them all. For without this Sign being fulfilled, the rest of the Signs could all be taking place at once yet they would […]

BENHAM BROS: A Real ‘Sincerity’ Challenge For America

(Via WND.com) – Charles Spurgeon once said: “Sincerity makes the very least person to be of more value than the most talented hypocrite.”  Hypocrisy is a killer today, especially when it’s “talented” hypocrisy – because the influence of talented hypocrites leads so many people astray.  Take the Hollywood elite, for instance. They know sex sells, so they consistently produce and push sexually explicit movies – like “Fifty Shades of Grey,” among others – and yet they pile on Harvey Weinstein for actually living out the smut they produce.  In the wake of Weinstein’s escapades, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Hollywood’s de facto governing body) said: “[T]he era of willful ignorance and shameful complicity in sexually predatory behavior and workplace harassment in our industry is over … [we will] work to establish ethical standards of conduct that all academy members will be expected to exemplify.”  Try adding these “ethical standards” to the movies you produce, Hollywood. If you were sincere about sexual abuse, you’d change the movies you make, not simply the words you say.  The NFL is another example.  Take how it picks sides when it comes to the league’s player compliance policy. It wouldn’t allow Robert […]

The Strategic and Tactical Balance Myth

Often when discussing strategy and tactics when it comes to getting work done the word “balance” comes up. The concept being, finding a point of harmony between the two sides so they each get equal consideration. It’s this mythical point of balance that many believe is the sweet spot they need to strive for. I say that the concept of balance between strategy and tactics is a myth.
