Finally, based on what we know, perhaps the question to ask is how will these accusations affect Roy Moore’s ability to perform his job as a Senator? And/or have the accusations made him less capable of his job? If your answer is yes, then vote against him. If you answer no, then vote for him. But whatever you decide, be sure you can live with your decision. I know I don’t regret my decision in this past presidential election.Read more
Modern Christian persecution has reached another all-time high worldwide, according to new reports and studies. An International Catholic Charity, Aid to the Church in Need, found that Christians comprised 75% of those persecuted for their “Religion” globally over the past 3 years. The Charity found that Christians are not only more persecuted than any other faith group, but they are also experiencing the very worst forms of religious persecution. The report also ranked the “most extreme” countries, concerning hostility toward Holy Bible believers, and China, Eritrea, Iraq, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and Syria topped the list. All of these countries appear on the World Watch List of Christian persecution watchdog group, Open Doors. In 25 years of “chronicling and ranking” the political and societal restrictions on religious freedom experienced by Christians worldwide, Open Doors’ researchers identified 2016 as the “WORST YEAR YET.” According to the new studies, over 200 million Christians experience high, very high, or extreme persecution. Islamism remains the most dominant driver of persecution globally, and is responsible for initiating oppression and hostility toward Christians in 35 out of the 50 countries on the 2017 World Watch List. In Iraq, the exodus of Christians has been […]Read more
“Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord” (Acts 3:19). (Via WND.com) – This is the simple message of the Gospel: Repent from your sins and be refreshed from the Lord – it’s just that easy. It’s not hateful, bigoted or intolerant in any way. In fact, it’s the most gracious and loving message anyone can hear. And it’s the same message from God since the fall of man, long before Peter even spoke these words in the first century. The prophet Ezekiel spoke the same thing directly from the heart of God centuries before: “‘Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked,’ declares the Lord God, ‘rather than that he should turn from his ways and live?’” (Ezekiel 18:23) So, the central message of the Gospel has always been that all people should turn from their sin and enjoy the eternal and abundant life God freely gives us through repentance. This is, and has been, our anchor of hope from generation to generation. Unfortunately, this message is being distorted and diluted by some spiritual leaders today who seek to make the […]Read more
In 6 months from now, Israel will celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Biblical Nation’s REBIRTH on May 14th, 1948. Thus, I believe 2018 will be a very prophetically-significant year. You may ask, why is the number 70 so important? Why is it any more significant than the 25th Anniversary, or the 40th, or the 50th??? While there are many reasons I will give in this article, I believe the main reason is a single word. That word is “GENERATION”. In Matthew 24, arguably the most comprehensive account that Jesus Christ gave of Last Days’ Signs concerning His Second Coming, our Lord mentioned “this generation”. What He meant by this was that the generation to witness all of the Signs which He gave would also be THE generation that would witness His RETURN to earth. First, He gave His disciples many specific signs of the End, such as powerful earthquakes, signs in the heavens, Christian persecution, false Christs and false prophets, rumours of wars, and rampant sin. In verses 32-34, He mentions the most important Sign of them all. For without this Sign being fulfilled, the rest of the Signs could all be taking place at once yet they would […]Read more
(Via WND.com) – Charles Spurgeon once said: “Sincerity makes the very least person to be of more value than the most talented hypocrite.” Hypocrisy is a killer today, especially when it’s “talented” hypocrisy – because the influence of talented hypocrites leads so many people astray. Take the Hollywood elite, for instance. They know sex sells, so they consistently produce and push sexually explicit movies – like “Fifty Shades of Grey,” among others – and yet they pile on Harvey Weinstein for actually living out the smut they produce. In the wake of Weinstein’s escapades, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Hollywood’s de facto governing body) said: “[T]he era of willful ignorance and shameful complicity in sexually predatory behavior and workplace harassment in our industry is over … [we will] work to establish ethical standards of conduct that all academy members will be expected to exemplify.” Try adding these “ethical standards” to the movies you produce, Hollywood. If you were sincere about sexual abuse, you’d change the movies you make, not simply the words you say. The NFL is another example. Take how it picks sides when it comes to the league’s player compliance policy. It wouldn’t allow Robert […]Read more
According to a local official, at least 27 are dead and over 20 injured. Other reports say a two-year-old was also shot. Per CNN the church is known to live stream their services on their Youtube channel, so it’s possible the shooting may have been seen live or that there is a video of the shooting incident.
Several news outlets are confirming the shooters name is Devin Patrick Kelly(spelling of shooter unconfirmed) and that his home is being searched for explosives and other clues. Devin Kelly reportedly was dishonorably discharged from the military and is believed to be a Muslim convert.
I have noticed a disturbing trend amongst my fellow Conservative Christians over the past year. It has gotten so bad that I now refer to most of them as “so-called” Conservative believers. I say this because I believe that too many of them have been placing Politics over their Faith. My social media feeds have become Donald Trump campaign ads 24-7, with very little being shared about the Holy Bible or our God and Lord. Yet, last November, these same believers were referring to him as “the lesser of two evils”. While I know that it is not their intention, many of them have ignorantly made the President an IDOL, which they have come to worship. When Democrats did this with Barack Hussein Obama, and called him a “messiah”, “the chosen one”, and “America’s saviour”, these same Conservative Christian friends of mine shouted “BLASPHEMY” and denounced the Left’s Obama-worship. Sadly, many of them today are doing the same exact thing with Donald Trump and do not even realize it. My first instinct would be to call them hypocrites, but I feel as if they ignorantly have been brainwashed. This has really bothered me for a long time, and today the […]Read more
(Via WND.com) – G.K. Chesterton once said, “In a time of universal deceit – telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.” Today, this nation needs some serious truth revolutionaries. Thankfully, one emerged last week in the New York Times (of all places). In an article headlined “To mend a birth defect, surgeons operate on the patient within the patient,” reporter Denise Grady overwhelmingly highlighted the miracle of life in a mother’s womb. It was one of the most God-honoring (whether she intended it or not) and truthful articles about pre-born life we’ve read in years. Ms. Grady obtained permission to be in the operating room at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston as a team of surgeons performed an experimental – and extraordinary – surgery on an unborn child with spina bifida. The article was emotionally gripping (you should read it if you have time), so we’ve summarized it below just to show you how revolutionary this story truly is, because so much of it flies directly in the face of today’s radical, pro-abortion agenda: The patient, still inside his mother’s womb, came into focus on flat screens in a darkened operating room. Fingers, toes, the soles of his feet – […]Read more
2 years ago today I penned the first article for Biblical Signs In The Headlines, and back then I don’t believe that anyone but God could have foreseen the website eclipsing 1,000,000 visitors by the 2nd Anniversary. Yet it has, praise the Lord. In just two short years, God has done so many amazing things for the website.Read more
(Via WND.com) – Billy Graham once said, “Only God Himself fully appreciates the influence of a Christian mother in the molding of character in her children.” In the last few weeks, we’ve found this quote to be incredibly true, as our mom went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 11, 2017. Her lungs had deteriorated much faster than any of us realized, and within 10 days of arriving at the hospital, she was gone. It felt like getting hit with a baseball bat in the chest. Our mom was an amazing woman, so we want to pause for a few minutes and use this column to honor her life. Dad was always out front and in the spotlight as a national pro-life leader – Mom was behind the scenes and didn’t get noticed much. But she didn’t care. Although she was on the back burner when it came to the stage, she was front-and-center when it came to the home, because that is where her heart was. Mom’s number one agenda was our family – she refused to let anything get in the way of that. She didn’t have a mommy blog, a book deal or an Instagram […]Read more
