Trump’s firing of Priebus sent Twitter into frenzy

President Donald Trump’s firing of White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus on Friday and on Twitter sent the Twitterverse into a hilarious meme frenzy.
Surprisingly Trump chose DHS Secretary John Kelly as the new Chief of Staff to replace Reince Priebus. Many believe Trump plans to replace DHS Secretary Kelly with current Attorney General Jeff Sessions, since he recused himself on the Russia investigation. Some pundits believe Trump will replace Sessions with someone more loyal to him, like Rudy Giuliani. In the end, Reince is the third top official to resign or be fired in the Trump administration. First, Michael Flynn was fired, then Sean Spicer was replaced by Anthony Scaramucci and now Reince Preibus was replaced by retired general John Kelly. Who will be next to go in this game of thrones and political musical chairs?

Justine Damond: Mohamed Noor may never face charges

According to the Daily Mail and other recent reports, U.S. police officer Mohamed Noor, who shot dead Australian woman Justine Damond as she stood on a driveway outside her home, may never face criminal charges.
Ms Damond, 40, shot dead in her pyjamas by Minneapolis policeman on July 15
Noor will face the sack if he refuses to speak during internal police investigation
But any statement he gives during investigation will be invalid in a criminal case
Legal technicality is being used to dismiss felony charges current before court

Sounds like a legal technicality that shouldn’t exist, but one that protects police from felonious charges. According to the article, any statement the officer provides during the internal investigation cannot be used in a criminal case due to a legal technicality, the Star Tribune reports. This technicality protects police from felonious charges but it also allows them to get away with murder or manslaughter. Just because they provide a statement during an internal investigation, it shouldn’t exonerate them of all fault or failure to comply with police procedures and criminal behavior. Hopefully justice will be served, and if he’s not charged with manslaughter that he is at least terminated from working as a police officer again. In the end, I’m sure the family will still be able to pursue a civil suit against him.
