Anthony Scaramucci out as White House communications director

As expected, retired John Kelly, the newly appointed had removed from his newly appointed position as Communications Director. Last week, Scaramucci removed Sean Spicer from his position as Press Secretary and had resign as Chief of Staff after he was made the new Communications Director. Five days later Scaramucci is out at the request of the new Chief of Staff. Makes you wonder if Scaramucci regrets having Spicer and Priebus replaced now that Priebus replacement, John Kelly, caused him to be removed from his new job as Communications Director.

Anthony Scaramucci was removed from his position on Monday, just five days after he started the job, according to reports.

Here’s the White House spin from press secretary Sarah Sanders Huckabee as to why Scaramucci is out:

“Anthony Scaramucci will be leaving his role as White House Communications Director. Mr. Scaramucci felt it was best to give Chief of Staff John Kelly a clean slate and the ability to build his own team.(my emphasis) We wish him all the best,” Sarah Sanders said in a statement.

Scaramucci’s departure comes just 10 days after President announced he was hiring him as communications director, and it was Trump’s new chief of staff, John Kelly, who requested he be removed, according to the New York Times.

Scaramucci will also depart before White House press secretary Sean Spicer will leave his job in mid-August. Spicer resigned earlier this month in protest of Scaramucci’s hiring.

Scaramucci vowed to tamp down on the leaks coming out of the White House and threatened to fire the entire White House staff to eliminate the unauthorized spread of information coming out of the West Wing.

“I’m going to fire everybody. That’s how I’m going to do it,” Scaramucci told reporters last week. “You’re either going to stop leaking, or you’re going to be fired.”

Scaramucci also went on a profanity-laced tirade with a reporter for the New Yorker, insulting former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus and White House chief strategist Steve Bannon.

After Scaramucci was hired, more departures from the White House’s press team were expected, and there were any questions about how Kelly — sworn in Monday morning — would work with the new communications director, a hard-charging, unapologetic Wall Street financier who is a fierce defender of Trump.

In the meantime, Sean Spicer will continue working in the White House until mid-August when his resignation is fulfilled. There are also talks that Kellyanne Conway, will become the new Communications Director. But who is being considered for DHS secretary is still anyone’s guess, but many think Trump will shift AG Sessions to the DHS position to keep the GOP happy and keep Sessions involved in immigration reform and border security and that Rudy Giuliani could be nominated to replace Jeff Sessions as Attorney General. Who do you think will be replaced next?
