A guide to the “alt-right” groups that protested in Charlottesville

The rally was the largest white supremacist gathering in a decade, according to the Anti-Defamation League, but it wasn’t the work of one extremist group or coalition. Spearheaded by a local far-right activist named Jason Kessler, the rally saw several racists, anti-Semitic and fascist groups, new and old, come together.

The irony of it all is that the Democrat party founded the KKK and were the party of segregation and slavery, yet they want to destroy and remove statues of men who they say represented slavery and segregation. While the alt-right, which is actually a liberal movement of white nationalists and former Occupy Wall Street members who are protesting the removal of those statues because it represents the past history and culture of the US.

As expected, Retired General John Kelly, the incoming White House Chief of Staff had Anthony Scaramucci removed from his newly appointed position as Communications Director. Last week, Scaramucci removed Sean Spicer from his position as Press Secretary and had Reince Priebus resign as Chief of Staff. Five days later Scaramucci is out at the request of the new Chief of Staff. Long Island Police Department Rebukes Trump’s Call To Rough Up Criminals

While some criminals are murderous thugs, in the USA you’re still innocent until proven guilty. Police are not judge and juror, their only job is to protect and serve the public by enforcing the laws and arresting anyone suspected of breaking the laws. Court Says Politicians Can’t Block Critics on Social Media

Looks like Trump may have to unblock his social media critics soon. A Virginia district Judge recently ruled that politicians can’t block critics on social media, especially if their account is being used for political input and opinions. Since the president represents every US citizen he should not block his critics, according to the suit doing so violates their first amendment rights. However, off topic comments can be removed or blocked/hidden. An upcoming court case against Trump will rule specifically on whether Trump can block his critics, but this Virginia court ruling sets a precedent in favor of the first amendment and Trump’s critics.
